The Perfect Pine was created as a place for families and friends to slow down, reconnect, and make lasting memories while enjoying everything lake life has to offer — without sacrificing comfort or convenience.

Our Story

The Northwoods has always felt like home to me.

Some of my favorite memories were made at my grandparents’ cabin — quiet, early mornings on the water, fishing with my dad and grandpa, and card games that lasted long after sunset. Those summers taught me something I carry to this day: the simplest moments are the ones that last forever.

My husband grew up loving the outdoors too — camping under the stars, hiking rocky trails, and finding peace in wild places.

Once we started our family, we knew we wanted to share the love of the north and lake life with them. We quickly realized we wanted more than just a cabin for ourselves. We wanted to create a place where families could slow down, reconnect, and create beautiful memories of their own.

That dream finally became a reality when The Perfect Pine was born.

Wrapped in knotty pine and nestled in at the tip of a peninsula on the quiet shores of Lake Ida, our Modern, Rustic, Cozy Cabin with a vintage flair was created with so much love and thought. From the lone pine that greets you at the end of the drive to the soft glow of sunrise over the water, every detail is meant to feel like coming home.
